Stream Road Worship

Timings, Finding Us & Parking

Worship starts at 10:00 or 10:30am on a Sunday morning and at 6:00pm in the evening.  Please refer to the table below for full details of worship leaders and timings.  You're welcome to join us, so please come along and say hello!  There are many ways to get to us but most people choose to walk or travel by car.  If you're using Sat-Nav the postcode is DY6 9NP.  There is parking just behind the church or on the main road at the front of the building.  There's access into church from Stream Road as well as from the car park where there is also a stepless, ramped entrance on Compton Drive.

The Vale of Stour Circuit also live streams an online Sunday service at 6:30pm.  If you're not able to join us, either in person nor online, then please remember that we offer worship resources here as well as those available on the Circuit website

A Warm Welcome

Churches come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, so it can be hard to know what to expect, which can make turning up for the first time a little daunting.  When you come to Stream Road we want you to feel welcome and relaxed, so we thought you might appreciate a little explanation of what a typical Sunday might look like...

The Services

Sunday morning services start at 10:30am.  They usually last about sixty minutes and will most likely include fifteen minutes of hymns and songs.  Every 2nd & 4th Sunday worship begins at 10:00am when "Into the Light" lead an extra half hour of praise; playing modern worship songs.  All hymn and song words are projected onto a screen; along with carefully crafted videos, presentations and important notices telling of future events.  All our services will have a reading from the Bible, some prayers and a short address.  We have recently completed a full refurbishment of the Worship Area and now offer individual seats, carpeted flooring and a dedicated children's area.  We meet for a short time after morning worship sharing refreshments and fellowship in the Hall.

Sunday evening fellowship begins at 6:00pm where we are exploring a variety of more informal worship styles as well as offering the more traditional type of Methodist service.  Please check the table below for details of what's happening when!  For those unable to travel to church on a Sunday we're pleased to confirm that worship will continue to be available online from 6:30pm.
