We meet at 7:30pm every Monday in the Parlour at church. If you're not able to join us in person, then we offer an online option through Zoom. Link: 969 6865 7216 & Passcode: 324061
As Christians we believe God gave us the Bible to act as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, inspiring, guiding and challenging our understanding; revealing what really matters in the journey of life. We believe that God gave us freedom to think and work out life and faith in each new generation. The great tradition of Methodism is that we should gather in groups to work this out together. So we meet regularly to read the Bible and to talk about life. You don’t need to be clever to do this, or have lots of previous experience, or even need to know the Bible very well... we just come as we are! If you would like to join us you would be most welcome. Please find some Bible texts for you to study at home if you're not able to be with us on a Monday evening. There is a further Bible Reading list available here.
We meet in the Red Room at church from 10.30am until 12.00 noon on the first Saturday every month (except January & August). We meet every month to share practical skills, make progress with current projects, chat and share refreshments. Why not drop in for coffee? We'd love to see you!
Come and join us for coffee, cake, conversation and friendship from 10:00 until 12:00 on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays in the month.
Open to all, pay as you feel able, with all monies donated to a nominated cause.
We are a group of children and young people aged from 3 to 18 who meet together each week to enjoy fun and fellowship through a range of bible based activities and services.
Our pattern for worship is:

Second Sunday – All Age Worship – children are involved throughout the service
Third Sunday – Morning Worship – activities are provided in the children’s area
Fourth Sunday – we meet in the Hall to explore God’s word through games, discussion and creativity
Fifth Sunday – Super Sunday – a creative service often using all areas of the building

We are a Church run Playgroup that has been in existence for over 50 years. We've changed a lot over the years and now are a Pre-Nursery Group for children aged from 2-3yrs. We are registered with OFSTED for 36 children and offer funded places for eligible two and three year olds prior to them leaving to go to one of the seven School Nurseries in the area.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Fridays during Term Time from 9.15 – 11.45am and the same children attend each session. The children are in two Groups – Panda and Zebra – and we have the use of two rooms, a large hall and a smaller quieter room and the groups change rooms after snack time to enable the children to experience all the activities on offer. The children work towards the Early Years Foundation Stage goals and staff monitor their progress through Observations, Next Steps and the Learning Journeys.
It is our aim to be a caring, happy and friendly group where each child will make friends, develop their social skills and learn to be part of a group. To achieve this we plan a wide range of activities and special events for the children to enjoy during their time with us and provide an environment which is safe and stimulating in which they can achieve their goals. Our partnership with parents is very important to us and we offer them the opportunity to take an active part in their child’s time with us. Our key person system ensures that each child has their needs met and enables us to make sure each child is supported in all areas of their development.
All Staff regularly access training via Early Years Dudley to update their knowledge by attending relevant courses. We are committed to Safeguard all children in our care and all the staff regularly update their Enhanced Disclosure from DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service). Staff are encouraged to look for new ideas to make each child’s time with us a very happy one where they progress, grow in confidence and are ready to go on to School Nursery or Pre-School.
Inspected by OFSTED, the quality of the provision is Good.
You are welcome to come and look around. Please just ring the doorbell on the car park entrance door, or contact the Playgroup for more information.
