Dear Sisters and Brothers

As Christians we should always be drawn to a global view because we are all interconnected.  And even when some of the challenges we read about seem overwhelming we are still called to pray.  So today we remember in particular the tensions between China and Taiwan where we pray for peace.  We pray especially for climate change - that governments and corporations will put aside self interest and greed in order to tackle this issue properly and protect the world's children and grandchildren.   And we pray for all those who have been subject to abuse, neglect, violence or marginalisation.  May we together build a better global society.

Circuit Leadership Team - Away

This week from Thursday to Saturday the circuit leadership team will be away on retreat together.  Please pray for us.  Should there be an emergency you can call the circuit mobile phone which we will check: 07712 332075.

A Small Correction to the Preaching Plan

You may have already seen that Remembrance is shown as Nov 7th when it should be marked as the 14th.  Preachers please note - Thank you.

Hosting a Youth for Christ Volunteer - Can you help?
Joy Clarke - a friend of mine from Youth for Christ - is seeking some local folk who have a heart for hospitality and a spare room and so might be willing to host one or two 18 year-old Christian youth work volunteers for 6months or a year.  YFC contribute £60/month towards their food costs.  Please pray about this and be bold.  For more details contact Joy direct at:  joy.clark@yfc.co.uk
