Timings, Finding Us & Parking

On a Sunday morning, "safe-spaced" worship starts at 10:30am.  You're welcome to join us, so why not come along and say (a socially distanced) hello?  [Please read the latest guidelines here.]  There are many ways to get to us but most people choose to walk or travel in by car.  If you are using your Sat-Nav the postcode is DY6 9NP.  If travelling by car there is parking just behind the church or on the main road at the front of the building.  Access into church is via the car park - there's also an entrance on Stream Road too.  Live streamed "online" worship is available from 6:30pm in the evening.  If you're not able to join with us in person, nor online, then please remember that we offer worship resources here and on the Circuit website

A Warm Welcome

Churches come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, so it can be hard to know what to expect, which can make turning up for the first time a little daunting.  When you come to Stream Road we want you to feel welcome, part of us and relaxed, so we thought you might appreciate a little explanation of what a typical Sunday might look like...

The Services

Before Coronavirus most Sunday morning services included fifteen minutes of hymn singing - and every other week when worship began at 10am "Into the Light" led an extra thirty minutes of praise; singing modern worship songs.  Things are a little different now, as you can imagine... but much remains the same:  We continue to use our AV kit to project much of the morning worship on screen; including carefully crafted videos, presentations, notices sharing news, the latest advice to help keep us safe, as well as telling of events that are planned for the next few weeks.  Our services still have a reading from the Bible, some prayers and a short address/sermon.  We look forward to the day when we're able to recommence chatting and sharing refreshments in the Hall post service.  Evening worship in church is currently suspended until further notice.
